New Tales Of Kenzera: ZAU Gameplay Showcased Ahead Of Its Arrival On PS5 In April 2024

Tales Of Kenzera: ZAU was revealed during last year’s Game Awards show, and looks to be an exceptional 2D side-scrolling action-adventure platformer, that also features a rich story for players to experience.

Ahead of a release on April 23, 2024, developer Surgent Studios released a new gameplay trailer through an Xbox Partner Preview event, where studio founder Abubakar Salim narrates, explaining multiple gameplay aspects players can look forward to in Tales Of Kenzera: ZAU.

The story was inspired by Salim’s own experience dealing with the loss of his father, as the game explores the relationship between father and son, and how to deal with what comes after that journey is cut short.

In the gameplay trailer, Salim speaks a bit on how players will need to utilize abilities granted by Sun and Moon masks in order to conquer both the game’s combat and traversal.

He also says that every ability you’ll acquire on Zau’s journey will have a combat and traversal use. You can check out the new gameplay trailer below.
