MediEvil PSOne PS Plus Premium Release Hinted At As Trophy List Appears Online

3 weeks ago 28

The PSOne version of MediEvil may be joining the PS Plus Game Catalog in the not-too-distant future, as Trophies for the game have appeared on website PSNProfiles.

While there is already a full MediEvil Remake available for the PS4, this Trophy list is slightly different to the remake, indicating it is for the original version of the classic adventure game. If this is the case, then it is very likely that PS Plus Premium members will see the game added to their subscription soon enough.

The original version of MediEvil was released for the PSOne in October 1998 in the US and EU, and was developed by SCE Studio Cambridge. The game takes place in the Kingdom of Gallowmere, and follows undead hero Sir Daniel Fortesque as he embarks on a quest to stop Big Bad Zarok’s invasion of the kingdom and redeem himself in the process.

MediEvil 2 was released in 2000 and the original game was later re-released as MediEvil Resurrection for the PSP in 2005, with the aforementioned remake launching in 2019 for PS4.
