There’s no doubt that Grand Theft Auto (GTA) 6 is arguably one of the most anticipated video games ever. And finally, after a decade of wait, Rockstar Games has officially revealed that the next chapter of the Grand Theft Auto franchise will get a trailer next month.

The confirmation arrives through a series of tweets released on X, in which Rockstar Games has acknowledged its 25th anniversary falling next month and thanked the community for support over the years.

GTA 6 Trailer Will Be Revealed in Early December 2023

After reports of GTA 6 reveal earlier this week, Rockstar Games has today officially confirmed that a trailer for the next 'Grand Theft Auto’ will be revealed in early December.

As expected, we didn’t get the full reveal for the game, but Rockstar Games has said they are ‘very excited’ to debut the next GTA installment finally. It’s surely a piece of exciting news for all GTA fans. Grand Theft Auto V launched a decade ago in 2013, and since then, has been ported to successive generations of hardware, including Xbox Series X/S and the PS5- while GTA Online has been a lucrative addition for the developer.

It’s been known for a while that a new GTA game was in the works. Rockstar first confirmed that it was working on the next Grand Theft Auto game in February 2022. Last year, we witnessed massive leaks from the next game, which Rockstar eventually confirmed.

While we still don’t have an official date for the release of the GTA 6 trailer, The Game Awards Show taking place on 7th December 2023 might be a possible date for the trailer reveal. The developer hasn’t confirmed that it will appear at the awards show, but given that it’s packed with new trailers and announcements from the biggest developers, Grand Theft Auto 6’s appearance wouldn’t be surprising.

As for GTA 6’s launch, a release window between April 2024 and March 2025 has been speculated in the community since earlier in 2023, when the publisher Take-Two Interactive projected massive financial gains in that fiscal which obviously wouldn’t be possible without a boost, from a Grand Theft Auto franchise.
