However, after you've become acquainted with Hawaiian living, you'll quickly realize that there are endless opportunities to make a bundle. Thereafter, you can bask in luxury while upgrading your weapons, supplies, and other items. The question is: which methods are the fastest and most reliable? To find out, check out our Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth—best tips for making money guide.

5. Complete the Story Mode and Side Quests – No Shortcuts

Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth has plenty of distractions. I wouldn’t blame you if you wander off and sink hours into a side activity without knowing. However, you want to practice patience and complete the story mode. The game dishes out attractive rewards for completing its chapters, with one chapter awarding as much as $1,000 simply for playing through the chapter, including the battles in it.

Still, in the completionist’s way of life, you also want to take on all the side quests. They’re quite many, so no pressure. It’s the perfect way to catch your breath from the main story’s pacing and explore all Hawaii has to offer. While some side quests won’t pay much, you can nitpick fighting ones or Crazy Eats.

Speaking of fights…

4. Defeat the Gangsters and Street Level Goons of Hawaii

Infinite Wealth has no shortage of fights; some are random, others orchestrated to learn a skill or unlock a new ability. Either way, you’ll want to take on any enemy on the same level as your party or higher. Defeating them earns you good money. Of course, you might die. However, it’s a good way to hone your skills and earn rewards in return. You can also prepare for battles by equipping buffs and supplies.

You can find and defeat the Keepers of the City mini-bosses. Each one grants you $70. Alternatively, dungeon raids in the Hawaiian Haunt in chapter five or Yokohama Underground in chapter ten are arguably the best for making quick cash. The battles here earn you more cash to the tune of $20,000. You want to brave through the dungeons, attempting to defeat all enemies through to the final bosses of each dungeon. By the end, you’ll have stacked up a pretty sum. Even better, you can always retry the different levels and leave at any time you want.

3. Brave the Infamous Sujimon Underground Fighting Rig

 Infinite Wealth

Compared to the regular fights in Hawaii, the underground Sujimon fighting rig tends to rack up even more cash. It’s side content that plays a lot like Pokemon Go, except with actual people. You’ll charge your minions to battle and unlock more Sujimon. With time, you’ll train and level up your Sujimons to battle more powerful trainers in Hawaii. Reach the highest levels (Rookie, Bronze, Silver, Gold, and Platinum), and you’ll have stacked up ridiculous amounts of cash, not knowing what to do with.

Keep in mind that the process can take a while to beat, from collecting minions, leveling them up and training them to fight stronger platinum-level opponents. Defeating Gold trainers earns you $500, while Platinum trainers earn you $1,000. Alternatively, you can fight in Sujimon raid battles around Hawaii. With each battle taking only a few minutes to complete, you can stack up cash quickly. Moreover, each step of the way is a chance to earn handsome cash rewards. You unlock Sujimon battles as part of the main story in chapter four when you visit Anaconda Mall.

2. Make Dondoko Island a Better Vacation Spot

Renovating Dondoko Island is a minigame that’s a lot like Animal Crossing. It’s pretty in-depth; you’ll easily spend hours here. What’s more? You gain passive income for your troubles. To make the most money, you want to upgrade the island to a high star rating. Raising the island’s rating will earn you a whopping cash reward. Thereafter, invite guests and entertain them on their vacation. Before leaving, they’ll pay you in Dokobucks, which are then converted into regular money.

The best part is it’s entirely passive. You can leave activities on the island running and come back to collect. On the downside, gaining money on Dondoko Island takes quite some time to get going. Upon arriving, you’ll find the island in a sorry state. Put in effort and welcome the challenge, though, and you can easily gain upwards of $100,000.

1. Get Your Hands on the Lucky Money Charm Talisman

Okay, so it’s common knowledge by now to collect, collect, and keep collecting everything you see. Of course, the items you’ll see differ in value. Things like random silver plates are worth less compared to weapons, health, and crafting resources. These are found in all sorts of places, including dumpsters, shiny spots, under cars, and even in the ocean. Either way, you can offload your items at several Treasure Select Pawn shops dotted around Hawaii for a sweet price.

But nothing comes close to the Lucky Money Charm talisman. It’s earned after unlocking Fortune Exchange in the main story in Hawaii. You’ll collect fortune slips around Hawaii, earn points (approximately 40 points), and interact with the Shrine mascot in Little Japan to get special items. Be sure to get the Raiden, rime, and flame amulets, as well as the tranquility bay. Only then will the Lucky Money Charm pop up.

Equipping the talisman grants you around a 15% base percentage increase to the gold you earn from each battle, including boss fights. I mean, either way, you’ll need to defeat enemies to progress through the story. So, why not maximize the hefty payoffs in Infinite Wealth simply for playing the game?
