Legend of Zelda Tears of the Kingdom gameplay showcase happening today

With only two months to go until release, Nintendo have announced an upcoming gameplay showcase for Legend of Zelda Tears of the Kingdom.

Today Nintendo have announced that a gameplay showcase consisting of “roughly” 10 minutes of gameplay will air on March 28. This footage will show us what we can expect from the Breath of the Wild sequel that is one of the most anticipated game releases of 2023.

If you want to tune into the showcase, you can head over to Nintendo’s official Youtube channel at 7 AM PT / 10 AM ET on March 28. It will be hosted by series producer Eiji Aonuma and feature never-before-seen footage of Tears of the Kingdom. 

Other updates for Tears of the Kingdom

This news comes just a couple of months before the full release of Tears of the Kingdom which releases on May 12. This Nintendo Switch exclusive is the highly-anticipated sequel for the Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild which was released back in 2017.

With a six year gap, fans have been eager to hear all they can about the upcoming sequel. Luckily, 2023 has blessed us with fairly recent updates.

February saw Nintendo announce that the sequel will see a $70 price tag. This will be the first time Nintendo has charged more than $60 for a standard edition of a Switch game. Additionally, it also received a new trailer and collector’s edition announcement.

It was also revealed that the title will have the largest file size of any first-party Switch game. Make sure to have 18.2GB of storage on your devices!
