Riot Games has just released the second set of skins under the Soul Fighter cosmetic line along with LoL Patch 13.15 which went live on 2nd August. While players are trying to wrap their heads around the Soul Fighter 2023 content, the publisher has revealed the next set of fantastical skins featuring gods, demigods and warrior champions: Immortal Journey.
On 1st August, the official League of Legends Twitter account announced that Immortal Journey Soraka, Shyvana, Zed, Zeri, Kayle and Sona are now available on League of Legends Public Beta Environment (PBE) for LoL Patch 13.16.
Riot Games Previews Immortal Journey Skins
Riot Games said, "Find your serenity on the path to enlightenment," adding, "The path to transcendence begins now," as it introduced the Immortal Journey skin line.
According to the lore in the game's universe, Immortal Journey is a series of parallel universe skins in League of Legends, featuring champions as spiritual warriors wielding powerful weapons. The lore further described, "Long ago, in an ancient land, many souls gathered beneath the gods to test the limits of their power. Foolish and arrogant, brave and just, their journeys are written into the immortal pages of history…"
The new skins featured in this thematic are as follows:
Immortal Journey Soraka
Immortal Journey Shyvana
Immortal Journey Zed
Immortal Journey Zeri
Immortal Journey Kayle
Immortal Journey Sona
Immortal Journey Sona Prestige Edition
Shyvana is getting a new skin after what feels like ages. Notably, the skin will not be a Legendary tier one but it still looks stellar gives the champion a unique look. The new skins for Zed, Sona and Zeri are also gaining popularity among the fans and could be hot sellers when they eventually get released. Soraka's Immortal Journey skin is speculated to be the Legendary one of the lot and should be priced the usual 1820 RP.
The rest of the Immortal Journey skins are likely going to be Epic skins priced at 1350 RP. If you are looking forward to the Sona Mythic skin, you will have to wait until it arrives in the Mythic Shop for Mythic Essence to purchase.
Apart from the main skin, all the champions featured in the Immortal Journey thematic will be receiving brand new chromas.
When are the New Immortal Journey Skins Releasing?
The new Immortal Journey skins are scheduled to be released along with LoL Patch 13.16. This patch will be rolled out across servers worldwide on 16th August (Wednesday). The skins, however, will only be available a day after the patch releases.
