Lawbreakers Has Been Resurrected By Fan-Made Launcher Six Years After The FPS Shut Down

Cliff Bleszinski’s FPS Lawbreakers has been given a new lease of life six years after the game shut down, thanks to a fan-made launcher making the game playable once again.

Developed by Boss Key Productions, Lawbreakers launched in August 2017 but was shuttered after just one year due to lower player engagement, despite attracting positive reviews from critics. However, last April Bleszinski gave hope that something could happen with the now-defunct project after saying fans should ‘stay tuned‘ for news on Lawbreakers, and later suggested a revival could be on the cards.

Fast-forward one year and a group of fans have announced Lawbreakers 2.0, which is an unofficial launcher for the FPS that has caught Bleszinski’s attention, who has been busy promoting it on Twitter and engaging with fans on its Discord server.

The creators of the launcher were quick to note that it “is not affiliated with Nexon or the Lawbreakers brand in any way, shape or form” and allows players to boot up the game on Steam to take part in online multiplayer skirmishes.
