The voice of Resident Evil Village’s Lady Dimitrescu will be taking on the role of Orin the Red in the upcoming Baldur’s Gate 3.

Released in 2021, Resident Evil Village has remained a much-loved survival horror game. Although it has some exciting and scary gameplay, one feature stuck out most – Lady Dimitrescu herself.

As the game’s main villain, she captured everybody’s imagination with her towering height and both scary and enticing demeanour.

Now her voice actress, Maggie Robertson will be taking on another hot villain in Baldur’s Gate 3.

In a recent video posted to Youtube, Robertson spoke about the role of the evil, shapeshifting villain Orin the Red.

Although she doesn’t give too much away, she does describe Orin as “affectionately unhinged” and with an “intimate relationship with her blades.”

Orin will stand alongside the game’s other villains Lord Enver Gortash (voiced by Jason Isaacs) and General Ketheric Thom (voiced by J.K. Simmons). Although the two men are described as being more “politically evil”, Orin is far more interested in blood and death.

Taking on such an important role will come easily to Robertson. She won the award for Best Performance at the 2021 Game Awards for her role as Lady Dimitrescu as well as many others.

It will be interesting to see how she will differentiate between the two women. However, with the trailer giving us a sneak peek of her evil cackle, it is bound to be another thrilling performance.
