Jim Ryan Receives His Own PlayStation Stars Campaign As He Leaves Sony This Month After 30 Years

Sony Interactive Entertainment has launched a new PlayStation Stars campaign for Jim Ryan, who is departing his role as CEO of the format holder this month after more than 30 years with the PlayStation manufacturer.

A Nod To Jim Ryan is now available and celebrates the three decades that Ryan has been with Sony, with users able to earn a digital bobblehead version of the executive by playing some of the various titles that Ryan had a hand in bringing to the PlayStation family.

Players must complete missions in the following games to earn the bobblehead Jim Ryan:

• Destiny 2
• God of War Ragnarok
• Gran Turismo 7
• Marvle’s Spider-Man 2
• Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart
• The Last of Us Part II

Back in December, Sony treated Ryan to a ‘Thank You’ party in Japan that saw him receive a special PS5 console that was kitted out in the same aesthetic as the original PSOne.
