Is the Blinx Series Coming To PS5? As rumours gather pace about Microsoft potentially bringing many of its Xbox exclusives to the PS5, there’s been a lot of talk about potential franchises that could come to Sony’s console. One of those is the Blinx series, which started out life as an Xbox-exclusive back in 2002. Could the Blinx series come to PS5 at some point? Let’s find out!

Is The Blinx Series Coming To PS5?

Right now there are obviously no plans for the Blinx series to come to the PS5. Developer Artoon is now defunct after its parent company, AQ Interactive, filed for bankruptcy and was later merged with Marvelous Entertainment and Livewire. Unfortunately, Microsoft reportedly let the trademark expire a few years ago, so unless another studio has picked it up, the possibility of the Brinx series coming to any console, let alone PS5, are slim right now.

What Is Blinx?

There’s two Blinx games that were made available for Xbox, beginning with 2002’s Blinx: The Time Sweeper and followed by 2004’s Blinx: Masters of Time and Space.

Blinx: The Time Sweeper is a fast-paced action game featuring a cool, clever new character in wild, warped worlds. The ability to control the flow of time provides a totally new 4-dimensional gaming experience only possible on Xbox.

Blinx 2: Masters of Time and Space is the second addition to this series on the Xbox, about Blinx, the Tom Tom Gang and other Time Sweepers. The games allows the player to create their own Time Sweeper and Tom Tom Gang members, and switch between them throughout the game’s Story Mode; both the Time Sweeper and Tom Tom campaigns must be played through in order to finish the game.
