To help with the continued battle against the Automatons, the devs at Arrowhead have released the latest Democratic Detonation Premium Warbond for their players. Besides offering three armor sets, banners, utilities, and more, this collection also comes with three brand-new weapons, one among them being the BR-14 Adjudicator Marksman Rifle, capable of piercing through medium armor targets with relative ease.

If you are planning on replacing your current Marksman or Assualt rifle and are considering the new Adjudicator as an option, here’s everything you need to know about this scoped weapon in Helldivers 2.

How to Obtain the BR-14 Adjudicator in Helldivers 2?

As mentioned above, the Adjudicator is a part of the Democratic Detonations Warbond, which can be obtained by spending 1,000 Super Credits. Once you gain access to this collection, you will find the Marksman rifle right on the first page and it can be claimed by spending just 20 Medals.

Although the Adjudicator comes with Automatic and Semi-auto firing modes, its scope attachment makes it more of a precision weapon rather than a rifle that can be used to spray down enemies. This Marksman rifle comes with three different scope options; 25x, 50x, and 100x. If you have decent accuracy, you can even deal significant damage with a direct hit to your target’s weak spot.

stats

This rifle comes with 6 magazines, each offering 25 bullets, which means demands an efficient use of your available ammo. However, it does fare decently in comparison to weapons like the R-6CS Diligence Counter Sniper and the AR-23P Liberator Penetrator. The Adjudicator provides a middle ground for players wanting to deal decent damage with precision, while also being able to maintain a steady fire rate. Here are the stats of this weapon:

  • Damage: 80

  • Capacity: 25

  • Recoil: 50

  • Fire Rate: 550

  • Traits: Medium Armor Penetrating

How Good Is the BR-14 Adjudicator in Helldivers 2?

While the BR-14 Adjudicator certainly provides the right balance between damage and fire rate, it is undeniable that it also has its fair share of letdowns as well. The first one is its recoil, which increases weapon sway and makes you lose accuracy while attempting to fire multiple rounds after one another. Its relatively low capacity is also a disadvantage if you predominantly use the weapon in full-auto mode.
