Images showing a white, all-digital Xbox Series X console have seemingly leaked.

The low quality images appear to show a white version of Microsoft’s existing console that’s similar in form apart from the removal of its disc drive.

eXputer reported last month that Microsoft was planning to launch a white, all-digital Xbox Series X console this summer.

Exputer has leaked the initial images of a diskless, white Xbox Series X.

Exputer’s report, drawing from its internal sources, indicates Microsoft is developing a disk-free, white version of the Xbox Series X.

It claimed the console will include a few upgraded components, such as an improved heatsink, but that elsewhere there will be no major enhancements.

It’s reportedly expected to retail for less than the current Xbox Series X console, which launched in November 2020 and has an ERP of $499.99, although it’s often available for significantly less.

Legal documents leaked last September potentially laid bare key elements of Microsoft’s gaming strategy for years to come, including plans to launch a redesigned, ”adorably all digital” Xbox Series X console codenamed ‘Brooklin’.

While its plans may have changed, according to the documents, the console was targeting a November 2024 launch and a $499 price point.

During a business update in February, Xbox confirmed that Series X/S won’t be the company’s last consoles.
