The Call of Duty series is no stranger to Easter Eggs and secret challenges, especially with the hidden finds in Zombies mode. Season 6 proves no different, thanks to the latest integration of Purgatory Island.

We’ll show how to complete a secret challenge tied to this mode, earning you the Gore Cannon blueprint in Warzone and Modern Warfare 3.

How do you unlock the Gore Cannon blueprint in Warzone and MW3?

You can get the Gore Cannon blueprint by reaching Torment Level 5 and surviving for five minutes in Warzone’s Purgatory Island mode. Jump into this new Season 6 match and kill enemy Operators to increase your level. Every time you get an elimination, you’ll notice that the skull meter on the left will gradually fill up.

Sounds simple enough to do, but the only problem is the target placed on your back. Higher Torment Levels make it easier for enemies to spot you, marking you as red when someone’s nearby. If you’re on a team, keep close to them so they can at least revive you if things go south.

Most players have found using the Juggernaut helpful for this task. Purchase it at a Buy Station for 40,000 cash, or take your chances with looting. Prison is the best place to use the Juggernaut perk, given that it’s at the center of the map for easier kills. You can also shoot down Mercenaries (bots) there to boost your level further.

After you’ve earned your way to Torment Level 5, you’ll have to survive for five minutes in Warzone Purgatory Island. Almost everyone on the map will know where you are, increasing the challenge even more. To survive longer, you can either jump into a helicopter or run around the map’s edges. Stick with a team as much as you can (if you have one), and you should receive a notification for the secret challenge.

As a sandbox mode, you can exit the game without the stress of losing any gear. As a result, you can now equip the Gore Cannon blueprint in Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone. Use it to boost the performance of the Raal MG LMG, providing you with the Jak Protean Conversion Kit.
