However, you can’t play it and will get the Mike-01 error if you haven’t downloaded the Server Test Session version of the game.

To find the Server Test Version of XDefiant, launch the marketplace on the platform you want to play on. Then, search for and open XDefiant before selecting the Server Test Version from the available options. The Mike-01 error is impacting PlayStation users the most, so use the ellipses button to select the right version.
