Dragon's Dogma 2 is now live and it is plagued with FPS issues on PC. The game has a "Mostly Negative" rating on Steam due to various issues and players are unhappy with the game despite reviewers giving it a very strong aggregated score of 89/100 (Opencritic). If you are unhappy with the game's performance, here are some optimized settings for the game than can help you out.

Do note that CAPCOM is aware of the FPS issues plaguing the game and is looking to fix the issues with a patch. It is not recommended to get the game on PC if you are looking for a smooth experience. If possible, get the game on console or wait for a patch before diving in.

Optimized Settings for Dragon's Dogma 2 on PC (1080p)

These are the optimized settings for Dragon's Dogma 2. Do note that even though you can hit 60 fps with these settings, you will experience drops and it can go as low as 20 fps especially if you have 8 GB VRAM or lower. The game is poorly optimized and requires a patch to be playable on most PCs.

When Will a Performance Fix Be Available?

At the time of writing, there is no word on when CAPCOM will patch the game to improve PC performance. While the game can be made playable by lowering settings, a performance patch is necessary to make the game playable for a lot of users.
