How to Complete Honkai Star Rail’s Anomaly Detection 2

The Anomaly Detection event in Honkai Star Rail is a limited-time event that allows players to investigate a series of anomalies that have been appearing across the Omniverse. The event is divided into multiple stages, each of which requires players to use Regin's homemade sensor to track down and investigate a Trotter, a mysterious creature that is somehow connected to the anomalies.

How to complete Anomaly Detection 2 in Honkai Star Rail

To start the Anomaly Detection event, players must first talk to Regin in the Goethe Hotel in the Administrative District. Regin will give players his research notes, which contain all the information they need to begin their investigation. Once players have read the research notes, they can activate Regin's homemade sensor by pressing and holding on the gadget icon in the bottom right corner of the screen.

The homemade sensor will emit a signal that will lead players to the location of the nearest Trotter. Once players have found the Trotter, they must interact with it to start the investigation. The investigation will consist of a series of puzzles that players must solve in order to learn more about the Trotter and its connection to the anomalies.

The Anomaly Detection 2 stage has a lot of players confused as they are unable to figure out where the trotter is hiding. If you are stuck as well, here’s what you need to do:

Go to the Goethe Hotel and find Regin in the lobby.
Talk to Regin and select the "The sensor’s reading..." dialogue.
Press and hold the gadget icon in the bottom right corner of the screen to activate the homemade sensor.
The sensor will generate a clue that hints at the second anomaly, which is related to colors.
Leave the Goethe Hotel and head to the objective marker
Teleport to the Golden Theatre waypoint to reach the location.
