Honkai: Star Rail Gallagher Attacks Explained

A new article uploaded to HoYolab shares more details on the attacks and skillset of upcoming 4* character Gallagher, set to arrive with Honkai: Star Rail‘s update 2.1. Gallagher is a Fire-element character who treads the Path of Abundance, meaning he performs the role of a healer.

Gallagher’s kit is simple but with an offensive focus, with the usual basic attack and a skill that immediately heals its target. His ultimate is where things get interesting, however, as it damages all enemies and applies the besotted debuff. This debuff is part of Gallagher’s talent and increases the break damage an enemy receives, as well as restoring the health of anyone who attacks them. Upon using his talent Gallagher’s next basic attack also gets upgraded to Nectar Blitz, which reduces the target’s attack stat. Finally, his technique engages an overworld enemy and inflicts fire damage and the besotted debuff once combat starts.

HoYoverse has also discussed some of the optimizations set to come to Honkai: Star Rail in Version 2.1, including several quality of life improvements. The company also shared lore details on the entities known as ‘Emanators‘, as well as the names of several possible or confirmed figures who hold that position.

Gallagher and his drinks-based attacks are set to become available in Honkai: Star Rail’s Version 2.1 on March 27, 2024. Honkai: Star Rail itself is immediately available on PC, PS5, and mobile devices.
