Hogwarts Legacy Tops Google’s Top 10 Most Searched Video Games List For 2023

Hogwarts Legacy has topped the list of the top 10 most searched video games on Google, fending off competition from the likes of Diablo IV, Baldur’s Gate III and The Last of Us.

Developed by Avalanche Software and Portkey Games, Hogwarts Legacy launched in February 2023 and was a huge success, initially launching on the PS5 and Xbox Series X/S before rolling out on PS4, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox One throughout the year. By May 2023, the RPG, which is set in the Wizarding World depicted in Harry Potter, had sold 15 million copies worldwide.

Back in September, it was claimed that Hogwarts Legacy 2 was in development, although nothing official has been announced yet. However, considering the success of the game, it’s probably not too hard to imagine that a sequel (whether direct or something unrelated set in the Wizarding World) would be in the pipeline.
