Refined Ingots in Palworld are a common yet crucial resource used to craft a huge number of items such as Refrigerators, Giga Glider, Electric Furnace, Weapons, Ammo, etc.
Although regular Ingots can be smelted at a Primitive Furnace, you need to set up the improved furnace at your base to craft Refined Ingots.
Note that you need a high-quality workbench to create the Improved Furnace.

Apart from befriending adorable creatures known as Pals, players need to understand the game’s massive biomes, collect resources, and craft items to ensure their survival. One such crucial resource is the Refined Ingot which is essential for creating weapons, armor, and other useful items. Without further ado, here’s how you can obtain them.
How to Craft Refined Ingots in Palworld?
Before you can craft Refined Ingots, you will need access to various other resources such as:
X2 Ore
X2 Coal
Although the recipe for Refined Ingots sounds very simple, most of the challenge lies in sourcing them by exploring the various biomes present in the game’s massive open world. Indicated by their dark, copper-like appearance, Ores can be found relatively easily in most areas, sometimes even in the vicinity of your base. You will need a pickaxe to mine it and it can even be done with a basic stone pickaxe that unlocks very early in the game. If you are having trouble finding them, you can head to the Plateau of Beginnings (coordinates 233, -505).
Coal is one of the rarest minerals in Palworld and it is exclusively found only in specific regions of the map. Fortunately, you do not have to scour through the game’s biomes as we already know the locations where you can find an abundance of this resource. You can find them here:
The Sand Dunes in the Desert biome which is Located in the northeast region of the map.
The southern part of the Mount Obsidian Lava biome
You will also find them in the Twilight Dunes region close to the Anubis spawn point (coordinates -135, -93)
Once you have acquired the necessary resources, you need to build an Improved Furnace which unlocks at level 34. Although regular Ingots can be smelted at a Primitive Furnace, you need to set up the improved furnace at your base to craft Refined Ingots. This is all you will need to build one:
X100 Stone
X30 Cement
X15 Flame Organ
While Stone can be collected from most rocks around your base, Cement must be crafted by combining x1 Bone, x50 Stone, and x1 Pal fluid. Bones can be obtained from Pals such as Anubis, Bushi, Vixy, Maraith, Verdash, etc and Pal Fluids can be acquired from killing water-type Pals. To gather Flame Organs, you need to find fire-type Pals like the Foxparks.
After gathering all of this, you are finally ready to craft the Refined Ingot. Simply place the Improved Furnace on the ground and craft it by spending 2 Ores and Coal each. You can also assign the job to a Pal with Kindling Work attributes if you need to smelt huge quantities of it.
