Helldivers 2 Patch Fixes Freezes From Arc-Based Weapons and Stratagems

Arrowhead Game Studios has released a new patch for Helldivers 2, and though it only contains one fix, it’s pretty essential. Patch 1.000.104 ensures your game no longer freezes upon using Arc-based weapons and Stratagems.

This applies to the Arc Thrower, the recently added Arc-12 Blitzer and the Tesla Tower Stratagem. The Cutting Edge Warbond added three new armor sets that offer resistance to Arc damage, which applies to weapons used by allies. With this fix, players should be more inclined to rely on Arc-based weapons without fears of their games freezing.

It’s received several updates since launch, from Planetary Hazards like firestorms (whose spawn rates were nerfed) to flying Terminids and the EXO-45 Patriot Exosuit. A new Major Order also went live recently to decimate the Automatons, who are planning a “large-scale attack.”

Whether this has consequences like the recent inoculation of the Umlaut Sector – especially with the IIluminate teased – remains to be seen, so stay tuned for future updates.
