Helldivers 2 Is The Best-Selling Game In US For February, And 2024’s Best-Selling Game So Far

Arrowhead Game Studios’ Helldivers 2 has come out on top as the best-selling title of February 2024 in North America, according to data shared by Circana’s Mat Piscatella. In addition, the game is also the year’s best-selling title to date in the US.

Helldivers 2 took the top spot on the list of best-selling premium games, best-selling PlayStation 5 games and most-players Steam charts. Furthermore, almost 60% of all Helldivers 2 sales were on PC via Steam, with the PS5 version taking up the remaining share.

In addition, the combined sales for the PS5 and PC versions of Helldivers 2 resulted in its dollar sales for launch month were “the 7th-highest total ever achieved by a Sony-published title in the US.”

Helldivers 2 was released on February 8, 2024 and you can read our full review here. The game was plagued by various server issues for the first couple of weeks, but Arrowhead Game Studios was quick to release a series of patches to iron out many of the teething problems.

Sony recently announced a new lineup of PlayStation Gear based on Helldivers 2, which features various clobber including t-shirts, hoodies, and more.
