The collaborative effort between Warner Bros. and NetEase, Harry Potter Magic Awakened, has launched in a select few countries for Android. This new game based on the extremely popular IP is a collectable card game with a hefty mix of PvP and PvP content alike and even includes a brand new original story set within the Wizarding World.
Harry Potter has been seeing a bit of a renaissance within just about every sphere, with a few new TV projects on the horizon, the recently launched and quite successful Hogwarts Legacy, and now a brand new mobile game looking to shake things up even further.
Within Magic Awakened you’ll be able to explore Hogwarts in its entirety alongside other players of the game, as well as decorate your shared dormitory, making a part of the room your own. You can even team up with these other players to tackle various pieces of content together in magical duels with tough enemies.
Add in character customization that will allow you to present your wizard as you wish, and there’s a big social component to this game that seems quite in-depth and frankly very fun. This is all without even touching on the gameplay!
Magic Awakened is a card-based dueler that will see you, either alone or with your other wizards, duking it out using magical spells in-between story sections. You’ll do battle against plenty of creatures and enemy wizards, but you can also square off against other players too, making for a climbable PvP ladder that will hand out various rewards.
So, whether a fan of collectable card games or a fan of the Harry Potter IP as a whole, Magic Awakened might be your next favourite.
