What Games Will Be Shown or Announced at The Game Awards 2023?

Geoff Keighley and The Game Awards' social channels have begun to tease a few of the games that'll be present at The Game Awards 2023 in the run up to the event. It's worth noting that Keighley has said there will be fewer games teased prior to the show this year, because this time there are more brand new announcements. With that in mind, here's what we know will be making an appearance:

• The debut trailer for Rocket Racing, coming very soon to Fortnite
• The new game from Sharkmob Games and Level Infinite
• SEGA has teased a "new era, new energy" and will be at the show in some capacity
• The story trailer for Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown
• Information on Warframe's next update
• An update on Metaphor: ReFantazio
• Something from Outlast developer Red Barrels, presumably The Outlast Trials
• A new character announcement for Guilty Gear Strive
• Supermassive Games and Behaviour Interactive's single-player Dead by Daylight game

Geoff Keighley has stated that The Game Awards 2023 will be between 2.5 and 3 hours in duration.

What Are the Nominees for The Game Awards 2023?

The nominees for The Game Awards 2023 have been revealed. Across 23 categories, lots of games big and small have been shortlisted to potentially take home a trophy.

The most nominated games are Alan Wake 2 and Baldur's Gate 3, which are each up for eight awards. Marvel's Spider-Man 2 comes close to that, popping up in seven categories. Other titles up for multiple awards include Resident Evil 4, Final Fantasy 16, and The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. What a year!
