Star Wars Battlefront Classic Collection: Xbox Release Date

The Star Wars: Battlefront Classic Collection will release on March 14th for Xbox One, Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S.

This is a Smart Delivery enabled game, which means if you buy it on Xbox One, you'll also get access to the "optimised" Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S version at no extra charge. Online multiplayer works between all three consoles.

The Star Wars: Battlefront Classic Collection has a release time of 12am (midnight) on March 14th.

This applies to most regions, although there may be a few exceptions to the midnight local-time rule.

How To Preload The Star Wars Battlefront Classic Collection On Xbox

There are two ways you can preload the Star Wars: Battlefront Classic Collection on Xbox. The first is simply to pre-order the game on the Xbox Store, which will then prompt a fairly large download of over 50GB.

Alternatively, you can use the Xbox mobile app to preload the Collection - even if you haven't decided to buy it yet. To do this, head to the app, search for the game in the magnifying glass section, and then hit "Download to Console".

Will The Star Wars Battlefront Classic Collection Be On Xbox Game Pass?

The Star Wars: Battlefront Classic Collection will not be on Xbox Game Pass at launch.

Obviously this could change in the future if publisher Aspyr strikes a deal with Microsoft, but there's no telling whether that's likely to happen. If it were to happen, we still don't think we'd see it for quite a while.
