Guerrilla Games Is Reportedly Letting Go Of 40 Staff Members Following Sony’s Confirmation Of Worldwide Job Losses

Horizon Forbidden West developer Guerrilla Games is reportedly looking to cut 10% of its workforce following Sony’s announcement yesterday that it will be see a global reduction in staff.

Dutch newspaper AD was informed by sources close to the studio that Guerrilla Games is laying off around 40 of its staff, although an official confirmation of the job losses hans’t been made yet.

As previously reported, Sony is laying off around 900 people from its global workforce and is planning on shuttering London Studio completely. Additional, Firesprite Studios has reportedly seen its Twisted Metal game cancelled, with layoffs also planned to hit the Sony-owned studio.

It’s not just Guerrilla Games who is impacted by the layoffs; Insomniac Games and Naughty Dog are also affected by the job losses, although details haven’t been disclosed in regards to how many cuts are being made.
