Janne "Gorgc" Stefanovski claimed during one of his recent livestreams that Dzmitry "Fishman" Palishchuk is one of the most hated players in Dota 2 ranked games.
Fishman complained on Twitter that Gorgc had been targeting him for months now. Gorgc responded, saying that while he praised Fishman's gameplay in pro games, his behavior in Dota 2 pubs was a cause of concern for him.
A ranked game in December 2022 in which Gorgc and Fishman had a heated discussion started the feud between the two players, which is still ongoing.
In addition to the competitive rivalry between Dota 2 pro players, playing against each other in ranked games can also cause friction between them. Among the most prominent stories of the last few months, one has been the ongoing feud between Team Bald Reborn's Janne "Gorgc" Stefanovski and Entity's Dzmitry "Fishman" Palishchuk. During one of his recent livestreams, Gorgc stated that Fishman is one of the most hated players when it comes to Dota 2 ranked games. In response, Fishman took to Twitter to complain that Gorgc had been relentlessly targeting him for months now. Gorgc then replied that while he acknowledged Fishman's skill, he was an "a**hole" in ranked games.
Gorgc and Fishman keep taking shots at each other on livestreams and social media
In a recent Twitch livestream, Gorgc said the only two players he has engaged in heated exchanges with in the past few months are Fishman and Roman "RAMZES666" Kushnarev, and they are not only hated by him, but they are just in general toxic players in pubs, so the community has a similar view of them.
“Do you guys think it’s a coincidence that the two players I have been beefing with the past year have been the two most hated players unanimously among Dota - RAMZES666 and Fishman? I don’t know. I don’t think that’s on me. I think that’s a ‘them’ problem not a ‘me’ problem.
I think too many people hate those guys to even be a coincidence. They are just awful people in pubs, I don’t know what to say. They are just actually awful people. I don’t know but who else have I been hating on? I think it’s unavoidable.”
In reaction to Gorgc's video, Fishman took to Twitter to express his frustration.
After checking Fishman's tweet, Gorgc initially poked fun at the responses he had received from the users which were in favor of Gorgc. The livestreamer then proceeded to say that it was simply Fishman's behavior in Dota 2 pubs that has resulted in him responding in this way.
“Did you see the Fishman tweet? What did he tweet? (read the tweet). First of all, I don’t know how you read hate videos, Mr. Fishman. It has one retweet and 13 likes (laughs). Unlucky for the Fisher boy. But first of all, I praise his team and I praise him a lot. I am not hating that much. Just think he’s an asshole in pubs. That’s where it ends, nothing further than that.”
A ranked game in Dec 2022 caused Gorgc and Fishman to exchange harsh words at each other because they were not on the same page. Gorgc had drawn greater criticism from the community for calling out Fishman's family during the war of words. Their relationship has since remained stagnant.
