Global Esports bid farewell to t3xture and now the team has only three Valorant players remaining in its active lineup.
Since the transfer window opened, AYRIN, Bazzi, and t3xture have confirmed their departure from the main lineup for VCT 2024.
It will be interesting to see how this major rebuild for Global Esports' Valorant team shapes up for VCT 2024.
Global Esports is all set for a major revamp in preparation for the upcoming Valorant Champions Tour (VCT) 2024. The franchised organization from India is down to just three active players following the departure of Kim "t3xture" Na-ra, earlier today on 13th September.
The transfer window has officially opened and all teams that are a part of the VCT circuit are now free to make their respective lineup changes for the next season.
In the past few days, Global Esports has bid farewell to its former captain, Jordan "AYRIN" He, and has allowed Park "Bazzi" Jun-ki to scout for other opportunities whilst being under contract with the organization.
Global Esports Bids Farewell to T3xture as Transfer Season Begins
After a somber run in VCT 2023 where Global Esports tried to create a world-class team with seven talented players, six of whom preferred the Duelist role, the organization is now ready to undergo some big changes across its Valorant lineup and overall strategy ahead of VCT 2024.
In July 2023, Michael "WRONSKI" Wronski, became the first player to leave Global Esports, announcing his retirement from Valorant.
This was followed by a patient wait for the transfer season to begin after which AYRIN revealed on 11th September that he would not be renewing his contract with Global Esports and would instead be seeking opportunities in North America and Europe for VCT 2024 as an In-Game Leader (IGL), open to playing the Sentinel, Controller, or Initiator roles.
A day later on 12th September, Bazzi announced that he had been given permission to scout for new opportunities while still being in a contract with Global Esports, ready to play all roles, except that of a Controller.
Now, today on 13th September, Global Esports has bid farewell to t3xture, wishing him the best for his future endeavors along with a wholesome video that has some of his more cherished moments with the team.
Global Esports even parted ways with its head coach, Hong "Eraser" Chang-pyo, on 31st July. He is ready to join a new team for VCT 2024 and is comfortable with both English and Korean languages.
Following these developments, the active Valorant lineup of Global Esports is now down to just three players, Ganesh "SkRossi" Gangadhar, Abhirup "Lightningfast" Choudhury, and Cahya "Monyet" Nugraha.
However, things seem to be complicated with speculations and rumors pointing that Global Esports might have reached a verbal agreement with Paper Rex concerning the transfer of Monyet.
Meanwhile, it is also hinted that Global Esports could be interested in signing Gary "blaZek1ng" Dastin, who is currently an inactive member of BOOM Esports.
The transfer season has just begun and already there is a lot of buzz across the global Valorant community. It will be interesting to see how this rebuild for Global Esports takes shape for the upcoming VCT 2024.
