Following a disappointing performance in VALORANT Challengers 2023: South Asia Split 2, VLT had been disbanded and with that, the hopes of seeing the Val'Clasico were shattered. But a spark of excitement was seen within the fans as Excali and Manoj “Sentinel” Kasyup shared the following tweets.

While there were queries regarding why the event was not taking place in Mumbai, Rushindra Sinha clarified that Nodwin Gaming already had a well-equipped LAN setup in Delhi, making it more feasible to host the event there. He emphasized that it was relatively easier for the players to travel to Delhi.
