Pokemon Go: Road To Sinnoh Tour is bringing with it a Masterwork Research Task for players to complete.
As part of the rewards, trainers are guaranteed a Shiny Shaymin.

Pokemon Go Glimmers of Gratitude is a Masterwork Research quest line that guarantees an encounter with a Shiny Shaymin. Like the Pokémon GO Tour: Kanto Special Research before it, players who purchased an event ticket can start work on the Masterwork Research: Glimmers of Gratitude with the debut of Pokemon Go Tour: Sinnoh – Los Angeles. Other players will have to wait a little longer for the Go Tour: Sinnoh Global to launch. The rewards for completing this grueling Glimmers of Gratitude Masterwork Research include XP, Pokemon Candy and an encounter with a Shiny Shaymin. Pokemon Go Glimmers of Gratitude Masterwork Research Tasks
To unlock this research questline, you need to have participated in the Pokémon GO Tour: Sinnoh, or have purchased a ticket for this Masterwork Research during the Road to Sinnoh Event. During Go Tour: Sinnoh – Global on 25th and 26th February, you can purchase a separate ticket to access the Masterwork Research: Glimmers of Gratitude. How to get a Shaymin in Pokemon Go
Players who purchased tickets for the Los Angeles Sinnoh Tour can earn an encounter with Shiny Shaymin after completing the Masterwork Research: Glimmers of Gratitude. Tickets for the Masterwork Research will also be available to purchase globally on Sunday, 25th February, 2024. Players may also run into the Sky Forme Shaymin, if they’re lucky. Stay tuned for more details from Niantic about the Sky Forme Shaymin.
Pokemon Go Road To Sinnoh
The Road To Sinnoh event will go live on Monday, 19th February 2024, at 10:00 a.m. and last till Friday, 23rd February 2024, 10:00 p.m. local time. During the event players will need to pick between two paths; Diamond or Pearl. Trainers will be able to pick between a Diamond or Pearl badge. The badge you pick will determine certain rewards and bonuses.
Diamond Bonuses
Trainers who choose the Diamond badge can look forward to the following bonuses:
Encounter an Origin Forme Dialga that knows its signature attack, Roar of Time.
The Adventure Effect for Roar of Time will last twice as long.
Dialga Candy awarded in Pokémon GO Tour: Sinnoh – Global Special Research.
Pearl Bonuses
Trainers who choose the Pearl badge can look forward to the following bonuses:
Encounter an Origin Forme Palkia that knows its signature attack, Spacial Rend.
The Adventure Effect for Spacial Rend will last twice as long.
Palkia Candy awarded in Pokémon GO Tour: Sinnoh – Global Special Research.
