Genshin Impact: All Shrine of Depths in Sea of Bygone Eras

2 weeks ago 46

With the release of the Genshin Impact 4.6 update, players are once again treated to a new expansion of the Fontaine region. This time, adventurers can explore the Nostoi and Sea of Bygone Eras regions, and find hidden treasures, solving puzzles, and collecting Primogems along the way. Here's a guide to help you unlock and locate the two Shrines of Depths in the Sea of Bygone Eras.

Sea of Bygone Eras Shrine of Depths Locations

  1. Hortus Euergetis: The first Shrine of Depths is located east of Initium Iani near Hortus Euergetis. To reach this shrine, teleport to the waypoint west of Initium Iani and swim to the top of the cliff coral. The shrine is nestled under the shed of an underwater coral.

  2. Collegium Phonascorum: The second Shrine of Depths can be found in Collegium Phonascorum, in a high place surrounded by yellow ruined pillars. Start from the southeast teleport waypoint in Alta Semita, swim upward, and head toward the shrine's direction.

Unlocking the Shrines

To unlock the Shrines of Depths in the Sea of Bygone Eras, you'll need Fontaine Shrine of Depths Keys, which can be obtained in two ways:

  • Fontaine Statue of Seven: Level up the Statue of Seven with Hydroculous to obtain six keys. These keys are scattered across the Fontaine region and are marked with a small white star on the game mini-map.

  • Fountain of Lucine: Use Hydro Sigils to upgrade the Fountain of Lucine and obtain four additional keys. Hydro Sigils can be collected by opening treasure chests inside the Fontaine region.

How to Access the Sea of Bygone Eras

Before you can explore the Sea of Bygone Eras and unlock its Shrines of Depths, you must complete the Canticles of Harmony World Quest. This quest is a new addition in the 4.6 update and takes place in Petrichor, Nostoi Region.

To unlock access to the Sea of Bygone Eras, progress through the Canticles of Harmony quest until you reach the Faded Castle beneath Petrichor during the quest "First Movement – In the Halls of the Sea King." You'll then enter the Sea of Bygone Eras, where the Shrines of Depths are located.
