Fallout TV Series Attracted Over 5 Million Views In Its First Week

A report on Variety has revealed that Amazon Prime’s Fallout series notched up over five million views in its first week, covering the period April 12 — 18.

Fallout premiered on April 10 and its success with viewers made it the biggest original streaming show of the week, recording more than 2.5 billion minutes of collective watch time from all viewers. Furthermore, the period April 10 — 11 saw 285.3 million minute of viewing time for the post-apocalyptic show, which is based on Bethesda’s critically acclaimed video game franchise.

As previously reported, Fallout has already secured a second season at Amazon Prime, and the success of the show also generated a huge spike in sales for previous Fallout games. In fact, Fallout 4 saw a jaw-dropping 7500% spike in sales, making it the best-selling game in Europe just after the show aired.

Speaking of Fallout 4, Bethesda is releasing a dedicated PS5 and Xbox Series X/S version of the game tomorrow as a free update for existing owners.
