ESL BGMI Pro Series 2024 LAN Finals Day 1: Overall Standings, Match Summary

Day 1 of ESL Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) Pro Series 2024 LAN Finals has concluded with seasoned teams like OR Esports, Orangutan, IQOO Soul, Chemin Esports and Blind Esports dominating the event.   

Orangutan is placed at the top of the table with 85 points and two chicken dinners. OR Esports placed second with 62 points and two chicken dinners. IQOO Soul placed third with 62 points, 38 of which came via placements. Blind Esports placed fourth with 56 points. Chemin Esports placed fifth with 56 points.

The ESL BGMI Pro Series event is divided into three stages, Conquest Open Finals, Challenge Season and Challenge Finals and also boasts a prize pool of INR 1 Crore.

ESL BGMI Pro Series 2024 LAN Finals Day 1 Match Summary

Match 1 Erangel: Orangutan secured a 27 point chicken dinner. Akop from Orangutan was the Most Valuable Player (MVP) of the match with 6 finishes. OR Esports placed second and got 20 points. Gujarat Tigers placed third with a good mix of finish and placement points to score 13 points. Hydra Esports placed fourth and got 11 points. WSB Gaming placed fifth with 10 points. Chemin Esports and Revenant Esports were eliminated in the early stages with two points each.

Match 2 Miramar: Team iFlicks secured a 23 point chicken dinner on the map of Miramar. Gujarat Tigers continued their momentum and grabbed 17 points. Vivek “Clucthgod” Horo from Gujarat Tigers was the MVP of the match with 5 finishes. IQOO Soul placed third and scored 16 points, 12 of which came via placements. OR Esports placed fourth and got 12 points. Revenant Esports placed fifth and got 8 points. Gods Reign was eliminated in the initial stages without scoring any points.

Match 3 Erangel: Entity Gaming secured a 25 point chicken dinner. Blind Esports placed second and scored 24 points.  Harsh from Blind Esports was the MVP of the match with 8 solo finishes. Orangutan showed aggressive gameplay and got 18 points, 12 of which came via finishes. Hydra Esports placed fourth and got 12 points. IQOO Soul placed fifth with 11 points. Carnival Gaming and WSB Gaming were eliminated with 1 point each.

Match 4 Sanhok: OR Esports secured a 23 point chicken dinner. Team Forever made a comeback and grabbed 19 points. Blind Esports and Revenant Esports placed second and third and got 14 and 13 points respectively. Chemin Esports placed fifth and got 11 points. GenxFM and Orangutan placed sixth and seventh and got 10 points each. Ash from Orangutan was the MVP of the match with 4 finishes. Global Esports and WSB Gaming were eliminated early without scoring any points.

Match 5 Vikendi: Carnival Gaming secured a massive 29 point chicken dinner. Sahil “Omega” Jakhar from Carnival Gaming was the MVP of the match with 9 solo finishes. IQOO Soul continued its good run and got 20 points. Revenant Esports placed third by putting forth aggressive gameplay and got 14 points, 10 of which came via finishes. WSB Gaming and Chemin Esports placed fourth and fifth, scoring 12 and 11 points respectively. Team Forever placed sixth and got 10 points, all coming via placements.

Match 6 Erangel: Orangutan secured a 20 point chicken dinner. Chemin Esports got the most points from the match, 24, of which 12 points came via finishes. Altu from Chemin Esports was the MVP of the match with 6 finishes. Hydra Esports and Gods Reign placed third and fourth to get 13 points each. GenxFM placed fifth and got 9 points. Carnival Gaming was eliminated early with just a single point.

Day 1 of the ESL BGMI Pro Series 2024 LAN Finals was dominated by seasoned teams like OR Esports, Orangutan, IQOO Soul and Blind Esports Esports. Some of the experienced teams like Gods Reign and Revenant Esports are placed in the bottom half of the points table due to inconsistent performances.
