Clash Royale is one of the most popular mobile games in the world which is developed and published by Supercell, a Finnish video game company. This online multiplayer game is a great deal of fun that requires a bit of strategy and is enjoyed by many casual and serious players.

Elite Levels in Clash Royal are basically just a new terminology for a card's max upgrade level. Starting from June 2023, a card's max level is Card Level 15. Clash Royale players can level up cards to level 15 using Elite Wild Cards.

Upgrading Cards In Clash Royale

Players should know that no gold is required to upgrade cards in Clash Royale and Elite Wild Cards can be used for any card a player wishes to upgrade. Elite Wild Cards make collecting and upgrading rarer cards (legendary and champion cards) easier and feasible. However, 50,000 Wild Cards are needed to upgrade any card from level 14 to 15, regardless of rarity.

Players can also earn 1,000 Elite Wild Cards for each extra Evolution Shard that they earn from a fully evolved card above the level of 14.

Supercell said, "It is a lot! Elite Level is not something that we expect everybody to unlock right away and it’s also the reason why we have locked no extra content behind Level 15."

The publisher said that getting to the Elite Level is designed to be a passive experience for players and is something that is supposed to take time, rather than resources.

"The more cards that you have at Level 14, the more Elite Wild Cards you will earn, so 50,000 won’t seem so daunting as you continue to level up your entire collection," said Supercell.

How To Get Elite Cards in Clash Royale?

Players can get Elite Wild Cards from the Path of Legends, the in-game shop, magic items, and extra Evolution Shards from cards that are above Card Level 14.
