Elden Ring Boss Malenia Gets Taken Down By A… Goldfish?

In an event that nobody saw coming, Elden Ring boss Malenia has now been vanquished by a goldfish. Yes, you read that correctly. 

Since its release in 2022, players have been coming up with wild and unique ways to take down Elden Ring’s challenging bosses. With streamers completing the game using just a dance pad, we really thought we had seen it all when it comes to wacky playthroughs.

That was until Tortellini the goldfish tackled the FromSoftware RPG.

Elden Ring Boss Malenia Gets Taken Down By A Goldfish

This incredible feat was taken on by Twitch streamer and Youtuber PointCrow and his pet goldfish, Tortellini. 

While others have been beating Malenia with dance pads and guitars, PointCrow has been training his goldfish to play the game. Despite the run only starting a few days ago, it is currently going better than you’d expect from a fish.

It is going so well, in fact, that little Tortellini was able to breeze through Malenia’s first phase without breaking a sweat (or the fish equivalent). 

How this is even possible still remains somewhat of a mystery. However, PointCrow did have some explanation during a recent stream. 

“Depending on where Tortellini is in the tank, he’ll press a button on a controller which will control Elden Ring.” Simple, right?

Like Water Off A Duck’s Fish’s Back

As you can probably imagine, this experiment hasn’t passed without its fair share of problems. Considering a fish isn’t the easiest pet to train, Tortellini had to have a lot of help from both their owner and Twitch chat. 

This has led to a lot of edge-of-seat moments for PointCrow’s audience but hilarious ones nonetheless. 

It remains to be seen if Tortellini will be able to complete the game, so stay tuned to PointCrow’s channel to see the little guy in action.
