EA Play Is Getting A Price Increase Outside Of Xbox Game Pass

EA Play has been a fantastic bonus for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers over the past few years, and it's about to become even more value for money, as the service is getting a fairly significant price increase as of today.

For new subscribers, the standard version of EA Play is increasing from £3.99 / $4.99 per-month to £5.99 / $5.99 per-month, while the annual version goes up from £19.99 / $29.99 per-year to a whopping £35.99 / $39.99 per-year.

• EA Play 1 Month (old price): £3.99 / $4.99
• EA Play 1 Month (new price): £5.99 / $5.99
• EA Play 12 Months (old price): £19.99 / $29.99
• EA Play 12 Months (new price): £35.99 / $39.99

These new prices will come into affect as of today for new subscribers, while existing members will reportedly start seeing the changes from May 10th, 2024. For Xbox Game Pass owners though, it sounds like it's business as usual.

Of course, the EA Play integration can't last forever for Xbox Game Pass, and it's been many years now since it was first implemented for Ultimate and PC members. Will this price increase spark a change? We'll have to wait and see...
