Dragon’s Dogma 2 player cracks how to make thousands of Gold through Pawns

In Dragon’s Dogma 2, buying good gear can cost most of your savings. However, someone has uncovered a trick that can make everyone profitable.

How to get rich through Pawn Quests in Dragon’s Dogma 2

Most players aren’t too keen to set their Pawn Quests with fantastic rewards. Especially when it comes to Gold rewards. Why pay other players to defeat an Ogre when you can just give them a Salubrious Draught and be done with it?

Well, Thick_Shady on Reddit has revealed that it could seriously pay to set your rewards to the highest Gold value: 10,000 Gold.

When another player completes your Pawn Quest, sure they’ll be rewarded 10,000 Gold straight from your coffers. But if you accept other Pawn Quests that reward the same amount, then you’ll be printing money.

At first, I thought I’d be hard pressed to find a Pawn in the rift with a reward for 10,000 Gold. But the first one I found did exactly that. To refresh the Pawn pool in the Rift, simply leave it and enter it again to find two Pawns that both offer 10,000 Gold for quests that you can complete rather easily.

However, I also thought whether it was necessary or not to set your Pawn Quests to have a reward of 10,000 Gold, after all, you can simply accept valuable Pawn Quests without doing that step to make even more money.

And that is completely true. There are many more generous players out there who don’t mind parting with some coin to get their Pawn hired. A Pawn often hired is a Pawn that’s bound to get good ratings and discover more about the world around them, becoming more useful to the player themsevles.

Although if you’re making so much money, why not set your Pawn Quest to 10,000 Gold? The information and boundless gifts you’ll receive may be worth more than their weight in Gold. But really, you can just skip that step.

I never considered that Pawn Quests could be a great way to make money, and I’m so glad I’ve come across this trick now so i can start indulging. Especially since I actually paid the 9,999 Gold for that one inn in Battahl… I know, I got scammed like an idiot.

If you’re not up for the task of hunting down such Pawns and felling monsters, then there are plenty of other ways to make Gold in Dragon’s Dogma 2.
