Bandai Namco Games and Arc System Works have finally pinned a release date to the PS5 version of Dragon Ball FighterZ, confirming the brawler will launch tomorrow (February 29, 2024) with rollback netcode.

The PS5 version of the critically-acclaimed brawler was originally announced for PS5 and Xbox Series X/S at EVO 2022, during which Bandai Namco also teased what would become Tekken 8.

Dragon Ball FighterZ was originally released for the PS4, PC, and Xbox One in January 2018, and arrived on Nintendo Switch in September of that year. The game sees players supporting a team of three playable characters and a unique assist, before battling other gamers or the AI. The base roster features 21 playable fighters, with new characters added via post-launch FighterZ Passes.
