Diablo 4 will arrive on Game Pass in March 2024 and other Activision Blizzard titles may follow suit in the future.

Cross-progression is likely to be available at launch and you can carry over your progress from PlayStation or PC.

In Xbox's new business update, it was revealed that Diablo 4 is coming to Xbox Game Pass in March. You will get access to the Standard Edition of the game as part of the subscription service. Diablo 4 released in June 2023 and was one of the most successful games of the year financially. While the seasonal model is heavily criticized by the community, the core game offers a well polished experience and it is worth your time investment if you are a Game Pass subscriber.

How to Play Diablo 4 on Xbox Game Pass

You can play Diablo 4 as soon as it is available on Xbox Game Pass or Xbox Game Pass Ultimate on PC or Xbox. There is no word on whether there will be a preload for the game ahead of its release on the platform.

Cross-progression is likely to be available once it releases. If you want to carry your progress over from Battle.net, PlayStation or Steam, you should be able to.

Diablo 4 Will NOT Be Part of Xbox Game Pass Core

Xbox Game Pass Core is a subscription service from Microsoft that grants you access to a library of over 25 high-quality games for Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One consoles, as well as online multiplayer capabilities. It's essentially an evolution of Xbox Live Gold, offering more value for the same price.

It is a service separate from the standard and Ultimate versions of Xbox Game Pass for PC and Xbox. Core is simply the cheapest way to get access to the now defunct Xbox Live With Gold's online services if you are not interested in the games on offer in the standard Game Pass subscription.

In addition to Diablo 4, there are other games to look forward to in the near future as well. Here is February's lineup of games.
