Destiny 2 Expansions The Witch Queen, Beyond Light & Shadowkeep Free For PlayStation & PC Users Until June 3

Sony has announced a new Destiny 2 promotion, Expansion Open Access, for PlayStation and PC owners that gives users free access to expansions The Witch Queen, Beyond Light, and Shadowkeep until June 3, 2024. Furthermore, PS Plus owners currently have access to Destiny 2: Lightfall, so it’s an ideal time to catch up before The Final Shape.

The Final Shape is a major milestone for Destiny 2, as it’s been described by Bungie as the “culmination of a 10-year journey [but] not the end of Destiny 2 and…definitely not the end of destiny.” The expansion sees Guardians battling against The Witness inside the Traveller, and brings back fan-favourite Cayde-6 while introducing a new Prismatic subclass, Exotic class items, and the Dread enemy faction.

Destiny 2 was released for PS4 and Xbox One in September 2017, and as received a steady stream of post-launch support ever since. Despite Bungie’s continued support for the game, rumours are still persisting that Destiny 3 will eventually see the light of day.
