Electronic Arts has announced that the Dead Space PS5 Remake is hitting EA Play on October 26, 2023, giving you just the right excuse to play the sci-fi survival horror title for Halloween this year.
Developed by EA Motive, Dead Space is currently available for EA Play Pro subscribers, but from October 26, the regular membership tier will also include the remake.
Dead Space Remake was released in January 2023 for PS5, PC, and Xbox Series X/S. The game is full ground-up overhaul of the 2008 horror classic developed by the now-defunct Visceral Games, adding new side missions to flesh out the narrative, as well as giving protagonist Isaac Clarke a voice.
The original Dead Space was a critical success and sold well enough to produce two sequels. However, after 2013’s Dead Space 3, the series was put on hiatus and it wasn’t until this year’s remake that a full-blown Dead Space game saw the light of day.
Will we see a Dead Space 2 Remake? Nothing has been announced by EA yet, but it’s definitely possible.
