Evil Empire, the studio that was created as a spin-off of Motion Twin, the original developers of Dead Cells to purposely continue to support Dead Cells, now has a new project, according to a new report.
A report from Insider Gaming claims that Evil Empire is working on a new Prince Of Persia game for Ubisoft, and it’s also supposed to be another rougelike game.
The report continues to claim that this project has been in the works for about four years now, and is meant to release in Early Access sometime in 2024, with an art style inspired by “Franco-Belgian comics.”
While Insider Gaming doesn’t usually get these kinds of things wrong, it should be noted that there hasn’t been any official word from Ubisoft or Evil Empire on this alleged coming project.
That said, now that Evil Empire is no longer supporting Dead Cells, its currently unknown what exactly their next project is.
So take it with the grain of salt its worth, but at the same time if this does come to fruition, it should be something to look forward to, since there’s a lot of strong talent at Evil Empire.
