Sony has today announced a new line of collectible PlayStation figurines based on some of its most popular franchises, like Horizon, God of War, and Ghost of Tsushima. Collectively, they create The Shapes Collection from Spin Master, and are designed to be affordable. The first is a six-inch figure of Aloy from Horizon Forbidden West; pre-orders are live now at PlayStation Gear with a view to shipping in mid-August. It costs £48 / $50.

You will be able to customise Aloy with 12 accessories like face paint and different head and hand configurations. Also available to pre-order now and shipping in September are figures for God of War protagonists Kratos and Atreus, Ghost of Tsushima lead Jin Sakai, and Varl from Horizon. All four of these figurines cost £28.80 / $29.99 each. You can view them through this link.

Speaking to the two Horizon figures, lead character artist at Guerrilla Games Arno Schmitz explained they're "based on the actual digital sculpts used for the game, something you can really see in the final result. We made sure the many articulation points made sense and even the finest textural detail shows up on the figures." Revealing you can even customise Aloy's hair, Schmitz calls them "very poseable" figurines thanks to the techniques used that maintained the "likeness of actual models".

Jason Connell, the creative director at Ghost of Tsushima studio Sucker Punch Productions, added: "We’re excited to have a new action figure version of Jin that fans can keep on their shelf to protect their home. Jin’s Ghost armor has so many beautiful details, including intricate fabric patterns and overlapping armor plates that are integral to the design of his character. In addition to his katana, it’s also always important to us to see all of his various Ghost tools represented to capture his different fighting techniques."
