CoD: Warzone And MW3 Might Include A Deadpool & Wolverine Crossover In Season 5

The Season 4 Reloaded update recently went live in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone, and data miners are already looking for clues for Season 5's content. A leak has now surfaced that seems to list a series of potential finishing moves with poses and mannerisms reminiscent of Marvel's Deadpool.

Data miner "Crashfty" has shared clips of unreleased finishing moves, which all use quirky execution styles very similar to what you'd see from Ryan Reynolds’ portrayal of Deadpool, with a unique stance, a sarcastic wave, and even the way the operator plops down to lie next to the enemy's body.

The Season 4 battle pass ends on July 24, meaning that's likely the start of Season 5 and would make for a very well-timed crossover if the leaks are true, as the new Deadpool & Wolverine movie releases in theaters on July 26.

Call of Duty has introduced several major IP event crossovers in the last few years, including the recent collaborations with Fallout, Gundam, Dune, and The Walking Dead, so another major collaboration wouldn't be surprising.

We'll likely learn more about upcoming bundles and potential crossover events closer to Season 5's release. Activision is also hosting the Call of Duty: Next event on August 28 to reveal new details and showcase live gameplay of Black Ops 6 multiplayer.
