Sébastien "Ceb" Debs, the legendary position 4 player for OG, recently sat down for an interview at the Riyadh Masters 2023, where he shared his thoughts on his signature hero, Windranger, and why he enjoys playing the hero.
Despite playing various roles throughout his career, he implies that Windranger holds a special place in his heart, and he reminisced about one of his favorite moments with the hero during the Stockholm Major 2022 playoffs.
Ceb's Legendary Windranger
During the interview, Ceb stated Windranger to be his signature hero, saying that the skill shot elements of the hero are his favorite part. He also states that the hero’s impact is very dependent on the player using it, and it can be a non-factor or the best hero in the teamfights.
“My signature hero? That’s not an easy one since I’ve switched roles so many times. I did have a lot of fun on Windranger, maybe I keep the Windranger. I specifically enjoy the skillshots about Windranger, I feel like you could look at it like a failure, like a non-factor, or you could look like the best hero in the teamfight. If I think of performances on Windranger, in the Stockholm Major, I think our first stage game, if I remember, was against Thunder Awaken. They were very strong. This was the first stage game, so I was like, finally. I played Windranger and I thought I played really well in the series, had a lot of impact and it got me going so I remember. That series in particular is close to my heart,” he said.
Ceb recalled a standout performance on Windranger during the playoffs of the Stockholm Major. In a crucial first-stage game against Thunder Awaken.
OG's Journey at Riyadh Masters 2023
