Bloober Team Reveals Draw Distance Is The Dev Behind Its New Title, Project M

Bloober Team has announced on Twitter that production has officially kicked off on a new outing known as Project M, with Draw Distance named as the developer behind the title.

The company, which is currently working on the Silent Hill 2 Remake, revealed that it has been working on Project M for the past year in pre-production, and it’s only now that the game has entered the production phase.

That’s about all we know about Project M right now, as it’s only just entered production so we probably won’t hear any new info for a while.

Bloober Team announced the Silent Hill 2 Remake last year during a special Silent Hill broadcast event, where Konami revealed plans to resurrect the much-loved psychological horror franchise with a number of projects, including the remake of 2001’s horror classic.

Silent Hill 2 Remake is currently in development for PS5 and has yet to attract a release date, although it is understood the project is nearing the end of production. Bloober Team has also revealed that it is taking a ‘very safe approach‘ to any changes made to the game.

Silent Hill 2 follows James Sunderland as he visits the foggy town after receiving a letter from his decease wife, Mary, only to find himself caught in a nightmarish realm inhabited by gruesome monsters including the iconic Pyramid Head.
