The return of BGMI (Battlegrounds Mobile India) has resulted in multiple tournaments being organized across India, and one of the biggest among them has been the Skyesports Champions Series 2023 BGMI. Indian tournament organizer Skyesports had announced that its flagship tournament, the Skyesports Champions Series 2023 (SCS), will feature Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) as the game of choice. The online invite-only event will run from 9th June to 18th June, with a whopping prize pool of INR 25,00,000 up for grabs. The top two teams from SCS 2023 will also secure a spot in the Skyesports Championship 5.0, which is scheduled to be held offline later this year.

The semifinals of SCS 2023 concluded on 13th June, and the top 16 teams qualified for the grand finals. Notably, a total of 24 teams battled it all out in the semifinals, of which 18 were directly invited, and six made it from the quarterfinals stage.
