Best Klown Types and Human Archetypes in Killer Klowns from Outer Space

2 weeks ago 50

The character customization in Killer Klowns from Outer Space: The Game is surprisingly deep, and the biggest choices lie in the Klown Types and Human Archetypes. Each class prioritizes a different playstyle, so choosing the right one for you is the key to success.

Each Klown Type and Human Archetype has a different set of stats including health, stamina, and strength, so they’re all suited to different roles on their respective teams. Each Klown Type also gets access to unique abilities that set them apart from the rest of the invading extraterrestrial forces, so a different class may be the solution to your human-hunting problems if you aren’t vibing with the default selection.

There are five Klown Types in Killer Klowns from Outer Space: The Game.

  • Ranger
  • Tracker
  • Trapper
  • Tank
  • Brawler

The Ranger is the default class for Klowns, a versatile all-rounder that can handle just about everything. It doesn’t excel at anything in particular, though, but it’s great for indecisive players or newbies. It’s on even footing with the Tracker, which is another solid class unlocked at level 12 that specializes in — you guessed it — tracking down hiding humans.

On the other hand, the Tank and Trapper are two of the worst Klown Types in Killer Klowns from Outer Space. The Tank class is just too slow to be useful and needs a solid team of supporting Klowns, which you can’t always guarantee in a quick play match. The Trapper currently doesn’t have access to traps, either, which makes the class completely useless. Hopefully, it’s just a bug and they’ll be re-enabled sometime soon.

Overall, the Brawler is the best Klown Type in Killer Klowns from Outer Space thanks to its aggressive playstyle. It’s squishier than the other Klowns, but the Brawler is incredibly fast and can easily chase down any fleeing humans. There’s a bit of a learning curve with the Brawler class, but once you get used to the abilities, it’s very strong.

There are five Human Archetypes in Killer Klowns from Outer Space: The Game.

  • Athletic
  • Rebellious
  • Heroic
  • Resourceful
  • Tough

Human Archetypes matter much less than Klown Types since they all have the same abilities and equipment, just slightly different stats. The default Athletic Archetype is a solid mid-tier choice since it has decent movement speed and stamina, but its low strength score makes fighting back against the Klowns a pain. If you’d prefer something slightly more combat-ready, then the Rebellious Archetype is essentially the game, just with slightly higher strength.

If you really want to take the fight to the Klowns, then the Heroic and Tough classes are for you. Heroic sacrifices movement speed for high stamina and strength, while Tough sacrifices both speed and stamina for much higher strength. This means that the Heroic Archetype can run long distances but not as fast as other classes, while the Tough Archetype is a slow tank that prefers to dispatch Klowns instead of fleeing. Killing Klowns is a great way to buy time for your team to search for escape items and exits, so these are very helpful classes.

However, the overall best Human Archetype in Killer Klowns from Outer Space is Resourceful. It offers a good mixture of stamina and strength while still boasting a super high movement stat, so the Resourceful Archetype can escape from sticky situations and while also holding its own against an attacking Klown. With this Archetype, you’ll be able to kill a Klown if the need arises, but you can also sprint away and lose your pursuers easily.
