Another Code Recollection hidden message locations: Where to find all 23 messages

3 months ago 133

Another Code Recollection hidden message locations are the only aspect of the game that aren’t explicitly spelled out for the player.

There are 23 hidden messages across both chapters of the game, each of which are written by Ashley’s father Richard and give you more background on the Another Code lore.

While you can turn on guides to help you navigate around the game and find out what to do next, the closest the game comes to telling you where the messages are is showing you roughly which room they’re in.

This guide, however, will clearly show you exactly where to find all the Another Code Recollection hidden message locations.

Another Code Recollections’ hidden memories are small collectibles tucked away in the corners of certain rooms.

They look like small origami birds with what appears to be QR codes on them. You’ll be shown one when you reach the Drawing Room in the game, but the other 22 are hidden across both chapters (Two Memories and Journey into Lost Memories).

To collect a hidden message, you have to take out your camera and point it at the bird. If you’re close enough and it’s in the middle, the camera will automatically scan it and add it to your collection.

You can then read the messages by going into your DAS and navigating to the Messages tab, where they’re split into Two Memories (where there are 14 hidden messages) and Journey into Lost Memories (where there are 9).

But where are all the hidden messages, and what are they about? This guide reveals all.

The first part of the game is based on the DS game Another Code: Two Memories.

There are 14 hidden messages in total in this section, spread out over both floors of the mansion and the underground section at the end.

Not all messages can be accessed right away – the best way to make sure you get every message is to check the Messages list in the DAS, see the room locations of the ones you still have to collect, then check this guide for the exact location once you gain access to that room in the game.

Message 1 – My First Attempt at Woodworking
