Android Version of Suika Game Will Come Out in April 2024

The Android version of Suika Game, also known as the Watermelon Game, will come out in mid-April 2024. Pre-registration is now open on Google Play. [Thanks, Famitsu!]

As a reminder, searching up Suika Game or Watermelon Game in Google Play will result in a person seeing a lot of clones. If you want the Aladdin X Inc version, someone should use the direct link or visit from the company’s Twitter (X) account. Once you pre-register for the game, Google should inform you as to when you can download it onto your device.

While Suika Game came out in December 2021 for the Nintendo Switch—then itself using a concept from January 2021’s Merge Big Watermelon—it flew under the radar. It became popular in 2023 after major VTubers and streamers popularized it on YouTube and other similar platforms. Paid DLC and an iOS version for the game appeared in early 2024. The concept of the game focuses on dropping fruits that would merge into larger ones. Because the fruits could roll around in various ways, it added an extra layer of strategy as to how you would approach the game.

Suika Game is readily available on the Nintendo Switch and iOS devices. The Android version of Suika Game will come out in mid-April 2024.
