38 Top Tier Players Will Have a Solo Mid 1v1 Tournament at BetBoom Dacha 2024 Dubai

The BetBoom Dacha 2024 Dubai which is slated to begin on 4th February looms around the corner, as 12 teams gear up to face each other for the lion’s share of the $1 Million prize pool. The BetBoom Dacha 2024 Dubai will notably also feature a 1 vs 1 sub-tournament amongst the players, the prize pool of which is a cool $100,000. The 1v1 tournament which will have a staggering 36 participants will take place during the BetBoom Dacha 2024 Dubai and will begin on 10th February.


38 Players Will Fight to be the King of Mid Lane

During the BetBoom Dacha 2024 Dubai, 38 players will participate in the solo 1 vs 1 midlane tournament. The participants' roles differ from support to coaches. According to William "Blitz" Lee, five slots were allocated to each team and anyone from the team could play in this tournament through the allocated slots.

In the previous iteration of BetBoom Dacha, the solo tournament consisted of only eight players and had a prize pool of $1,000 which was won by BetBoom Team’s Danil "gpk" Skutin after beating 9Pandas’ Gleb "kiyotaka" Zyryanov. 

Now, the solo tournament is back with a much bigger tournament and much larger prize pool. 38 players of various backgrounds will compete for the lion’s share of the prize pool.

Game Format and Dates:

At the time of writing the official format and dates have not been announced by the organizers but if the format is similar to last year’s then the following format can be expected:

  • 1x1: Players take turns banning heroes in a pool of 10 heroes. Who will be first will be determined by a coin flip

  • Bans will take place until there is only one hero left

  • Single-elimination

  • Semifinals and Final are Bo3, others are Bo1

  • The 1st map is played according to the rules described above

  • The 2nd map follows the same rules, but there are 9 heroes to choose from (the hero used on the 1st map can no longer be used in the current match)

  • The 3rd map follows the same rules, but a heroes pool of 8 (the hero used on the 1st and 2nd map can no longer be used in the current match)

  • Players can use all items except Infused Raindrops
